240 seconds
Project brief to create a sequence of images based on an individually given time scale (mine being 240 seconds - 4 minutes).Came across "The 4 minute warning" system during my initial research which was used by the British government during The Cold War. This is the approx. length of time a Soviet nuclear missile attack against the UK could be confirmed and its impact publicised to the general public. (via air raid signals, television, radio etc.)

Research sketchbook
New project. Far better than the geometric, dot-matrix, systematic, dull, tedious typefaces we had to create about 25 times in the last few weeks. This time we were given a brown paper bag and inside we each found a book purchased from charity shops across Bath. This individual publication must then inspire us to re-design, illustrate or re-make it in some way.
